Waiting on Wednesday

This great meme, hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine, is a great way to discuss and highlight upcoming releases.  I love checking out new and upcoming novels and this time I had a hard time in my selection so I decided to include four of them  Hope you like them!

Ghost Shadow (Book 1, Bone Island Trilogy)
by Heather Graham
Release Date: July 2010

There are those who walk among us, no longer alive, but not yet crossed over.  They seek retribution, vengeance, or to warn us.  And among the living, few can even intuit their presence.

Katie O'Hara is one who can.

I love anything paranormal written by Heather Graham.  I am definitely looking forward to reading this trilogy; it sounds like great fun.

Time's Legacy
by Barbara Erskine
Release Date: July 8, 2010

In present-day Cambridge, Abi, a recently ordained priest of the Church of England, is appointed to a notoriously difficult parish.  The priest in charge is the charismatic but fundamentalist Kier.  He objects to her mysticism, her practice of healing in particular.  When she sees a vision of a congregation in an old church, Kier accuses her of witchcraft, but Abi soon sees more visions; an entire Roman family history, dark with betrayl and a promise of bloody revenge.  With foreboding voices building up to violence, Abi must battle the approaching terror along with her own personal demons, drawing upon her own personal expertise of Druidry and shamanism from a questionable source...

I absolutely love this author!!!!

The Killing Place (Book 8, Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles)
by Tess Gerritsen
Release Date: June 24, 2010

Undead and Unfinished (Queen Betsy, Book 9)
by Mary Janice Davidson
Release Date: July 6, 2010

Vampire Queen Betsy is fed with trying to decipher the strange things prophesied in The Book of the Dead.  At the end of her tether, she strikes a deal with Satan who promises to help - if she and her half-sister Laura pay a visit to Hell.  Hell, it would seem, is more terrifying than Betsy could ever have imagined - a waiting room with bad carpeting, re-runs of bad 70s tv shows and ancient Good Housekeeping magazines.  But when Betsy and Laura find themselves catapulted back and forth through time, they realize they could seriously screw everything up for good...
