Sounds like something that would happen to me only with my Mom. Haha. Sorry that you had to put the book back!
ReplyDeleteDelirium is an AWESOME book! I hope you enjoy it. :)
i want to read the cleopatra one too!
ReplyDeleteNow I would have caved in on my own,but with other half with me, I know I would have walked out without that book.
ReplyDeleteJust remember, that book will still be there when you are off the ban. :)

Ooh, Delirium looks great! Happy reading :).
ReplyDeleteYou put it back, well done, not sure if that is for you or hubby, lol
ReplyDeleteYea for sticking to your book ban, with the help of your fabulous hubby! I know it probably hurt to leave the book behind, but aren't you happy he helped you stick to the ban? Maybe you could start talking to the poor guy again? :)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to read Delirium too, but haven't gotten to it yet. I enjoyed reading "Blue", so will keep an eye out for Lou's visit. Happy reading!
Here's my IMM
Great job! I know it's so hard! Part of my problem is that I work part time at a bookstore, so not only do I read great reviews on the blogs I follow, I see new books constantly! Fortunately I'm broke enough right now to keep from buying as much as I want. However, this quote sums up my life: When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes. - Erasmus
ReplyDeleteIf I worked at a bookstore, I'd be in really big trouble. I know I have an 'addiction', and I've been trying really hard. I thought I was okay until I saw something really, really interesting and if it wasn't for my hubby, I probably would have bought it. No qualms either!!
ReplyDeleteAwww, good luck on continuing your book buying ban! I got Delirium from my library too, I can't wait to read it. I hope you enjoy your books!
